Brief History of Work:
• This was a design-build project located within the Salt River National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve, a unit of the National Park Service on St. Croix, USVI. The 1,200 SF observatory building was designed to be a fully self-sufficient, net zero building, used to facilitate the studying of surrounding marine environment and other natural/cultural features.


Project Highlights:
• The electrical design entailed solar panels mounted on the roof, which were attached to batteries and an inverter system which provided power and lighting to the facility.
